This new company Zonbu has created affordable eco friendly laptop.

To get the new laptop for $279 you will have to sign up for a 2-year plan, $379 will require a 1-year plan and for $479 you can use the service plan on a month to month basis or just not have the service plan. The service plans each cost $14.95 a month and include “transparent upgrades,” “unlimited support,” and the “Zonbu Elastic Drive” for backup and remote storage. They also have an a la carte service option for $19.90 a month. The Zonbu notebook is expected to be available in Q1 2008, however you can purchase the laptop now with a beta copy of the software.
