Which is better? To be loved or to be feared?

This raises the question whether it is better to be loved than feared, or the contrary. My reply is that one would like to be both; but it is difficult to combine love and fear. If one has to choose between them, it is far safer to be feared than loved.

reflective thought (follow up)

As I read through my facebook feed this morning I realized who became president. Then I wondered how much would really change. What can I do differently? What can I do better? I hope these reflective thoughts help me become a better human being. I hope it influences me to influence others positively and constructively.
