Is Child Support Fair? An Education - Part 1

After many encounters with single parents, child support, dead beat moms, dead beat dads, arrest warrants, baby mama drama, baby daddy drama, child support to make ends meet, harrassment for money, misuse of money, and struggles among many other things Erika's View will begin a community educational session on Child Support, the program description and mission. Is child support sensible? Is it fair? Who wins? Who loses? What are the advantages and disadvantages of using child support?

The mission of the Child Support Enforcement Program is to enhance the well-being of children by assuring that assistance in obtaining support, including financial and medical, is available to children through locating parents, establishing paternity, establishing support obligations, and monitoring and enforcing those obligations.

The program collected $23 billion.
The total caseload was 15.9 million.
The FPLS returned employment or address information for over 4.7 million individuals during FY 2005.
During FY 2005, the Multistate Financial Institution Data Match (MSFIDM) program located a quarterly average of 2.1 million accounts containing financial assets owned by 1.1 million obligors.

How He Made Me Aware of a Real Life Issue

So I've been seeing this guy who parties really hard, I always have a great time with him but guess what? He's technically a deadbeat dad. He knows all the hot spots around, keeps up with the lastest fashions and trends, his friends are really fly but he's behind on child support. Does being behind make him a bad person? Should I not date him because he's a deadbeat dad?

Well that's all over. The partying lasted about 2 months before it became absolutely boring. Besides the money he was spending on me he can use it now to get his child support under control.
